A semi-detached dwelling, which had dark south facing living spaces. The clients wanted clutter free, minimalist living spaces.
A simple living area box, separated from the original house by a ‘breezeway’ courtyard created a refined plan with two distinct zones.
A joinery unit span the length of one wall of the new pavilion and cleverly incorporates the kitchen as well as storage needs of the living space.
A large skylight captures northern light into the heart of the addition, as well as providing high-level ventilation.
